Welcome to PolyTechnos Venture-Partners

PolyTechnos Venture-Partners is a European venture capital group based in Munich, Germany, with an office in Silicon Valley, U.S. PolyTechnos focuses on equity investments in European, especially German and Swiss, high growth companies which a proven and globally scalable business model and a clear path to exit.

Team

Our team combines investment experience with top-level international operational, marketing, and business development expertise. We have a track record of successfully operating across European, U.S., and Asian business environments. With our integrated and cross-disciplinary team approach, we have the capability, necessary expertise, and relevant networks to successfully develop globally leading companies.

Advised Funds

With its new fund, PolyTechnos European Growth Fund I, PolyTechnos has adapted its investment strategy to the existing opportunities in European high growth investing and the experiences made in traditional early-stage VC investing. The fund will seek to invest in special situations where PolyTechnos has identified a unique situation which can create significant value in a short time. Such situations mostly comprise later-stage investments, however, might include some selected early-stage investments. PolyTechnos has emerged from its prior early-stage, hybrid investment strategy with two funds totalling approximately EUR 200 million in assets.

Sectors:
Predominantly Software, Services, among Systems and CleanTech companies

Stage:
Later-stage companies with a proven business modell, an identified exit in form of a global trade sale, and an established management team with demonstrated execution skills

Selected early-stage companies with a unique business model, no/limited technology risk, limited burn rate, and an identified value inflection point for a global trade sale within ~3 years

Geography:
Predominantly Europe with a focus on German-speaking countries

Structure:
Significant minority equity stakes in privately held companies

Size:
EUR 5 - 15 million over several financing rounds per company, with initial investments of typically EUR 3 - 5 million
