Eric joined
PolyTechnos in 1998 from McKinsey & Co., where he served as product development
and defense-aerospace industry expert, following roles in product development
with organizations including BMW, Daimler-Benz Aerospace, and McDonnell-Douglas
(now Boeing). Further, Eric gained start-up experience as founder and president/CEO
of Petrotech International, a company involved in high-tech, large scale
fire-fighting and bioremediation products and services. Eric has studied and
worked in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
At
PolyTechnos, Eric specializes in hardware, including optics, wireless, and
semiconductors. He has served the boards of a number of technology
related companies, including NemeriX S.A., Media Lario Technologies S.r.l., and
Enigma, Inc. Eric
holds engineering degrees from MIT (M.S. aero & astro eng.); Von Karman
Institute for Fluid Dynamics, Belgium (Dipl. Post-Univ.); Technical University
of Munich (H. Dipl.); and University of New Hampshire (B.S. mech. eng.).
Further, he received his MBA in finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Eric is a founding member of the MIT Entrepreneurship Society. |
