Luc Bauer
joined PolyTechnos in 2004.
Luc is a
board member to PolyTechnos' advised funds' portfolio companies NemeriX and
Varioptic. He
has more than 30 years of experience in various executive positions at
electronics and semiconductor companies in the U.S. and in Europe, mainly
as a founder, board member, and president. These firms include Hana Microdisplay
Technologies, SVISION, nCHIP, Integrated Device Technology,
and Eurosil/Intersil. He has been a board member and mentor to a number
of European technology companies including Seyonic, Microsens Products, Space-X,
Innovative Silicon Solutions, and Smartnose.
Luc started
his engineering education in Switzerland. He holds a B.S. in physics from the
Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, as well as an M.S. and
a Ph.D. in engineering science from Caltech. |
