Tonio has been Partner at
PolyTechnos since 2003. He has built
the world's leading hydraulics company Sauer from its German, family-owned
mid-cap beginnings to its presence on world stage and public markets. He served
as President, COO, and CFO of Sauer, which he took public
in 1998 (NYSE: SHS) and which merged with Danfoss Mobile Hydraulics in 2000,
creating a company with a more than USD 1bn market cap. Sauer is one of the world's largest
manufacturers of mobile hydraulic equipment, with operations in the U.S.,
Germany, U.K., Italy, Slovakia, and China. Tonio created the Slovakia and China
divisions.
Until 1986, he was audit division manager at Arthur Andersen in
Düsseldorf, Germany. He has long standing
experience as a board member and his current appointments include DBD, Nanotron, Innolume, and Panoratio, as well as
Framepool.
Tonio
received his graduate degree in electrical engineering and his Ph.D. in business
administration from the Technical University of Berlin. He also is a Certified
Public Accountant and a Certified Tax Adviser. |
